Chris obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Cum Laude) degree from the University of Stellenbosch and subsequently also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours degree from the same univeristy.
He started his accounting articles at a Stellenbosch based auditing firm and after that worked as an accountant and served on management for a telecommunications firm in Cape Town.
The next step was starting his own business, CH Consulting.
He has obtained the following professional designations:
Business Accountant in Practice (SA) from the South African Institute of Business Accountants (SAIBA)
General Tax Practitioner (SA) from the South African Institute of Tax Professionals (SAIT)
Business Accountant Practising Independent Reviewer from SAIBA
He is currently furthering his studies with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Stellenbosch, he believes that this is adding additional value to CH Consulting's service offering and will continue to do so in the future.

Technology plays a major role in everything we do today and it can be utilised to increase the efficiency of businesses. However, we have realised that technology can also be counterproductive and dim basic business principles that have been around for centuries. Therefore advances in technology must be applied with care.

Tax compliance for individuals and businesses is another area that we cover and we attempt to move the client towards tax compliance in an honest manner.
